Description
The Nanoptix PayCheck 4 Thermal Ticket Printer is a direct thermal ticket printer used in casino slot machines for TITO ticket printing. It is also known by the name Triton. Tickets are fan-folded stacks loaded into a drop-in cartridge rather than a roll, and the printed ticket exits from the front of the unit. This unit is used. Casino Garage supplies replacement parts for casino slot machines and ships worldwide from our warehouse in Miami, Florida.
Part numbers and cross-reference
- Model: PayCheck 4
- Also known as: Triton
- Written as one word: Paycheck4

Accessory part numbers for this printer, in case you are matching a component rather than the printer itself: the 14-pin Molex power supply is 210007-0202R, the RS232 communication cable is 210036-0004R, the USB cable is 100390-0001R, and the ticket trays are 950020-0001R (400), 950020-0002R (600) and 950020-0003R (800). Ask us if you need any of these alongside the printer.
Compatibility
The PayCheck 4 connects through a 14-pin Molex universal interface and communicates over bidirectional RS-232C or USB, so it fits cabinets wired for that interface regardless of the game manufacturer. Confirm the connector and the protocol your machine expects before ordering, and send us a photograph of the harness if you are unsure.

Frequently asked questions
Is this part covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every part we ship is covered by a 20-day warranty from the date you receive it. If the part does not work as described, contact us and we will arrange a return. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.
What condition is this printer in?
It is listed as used. Ask us for photographs of the exact unit in stock before ordering.
Is the Nanoptix PayCheck 4 the same as the Triton?
Yes. Triton is an alternative name for the same Nanoptix PayCheck 4 printer. It is one unit listed under two names, not two products.
What power does the PayCheck 4 need?
It runs on 24 VDC supplied through the 14-pin Molex interface. Output voltage above roughly 26.8 V will stop the printer from starting, which is a common cause of a unit that appears dead but is not faulty.
What tickets does it use?
Fan-folded thermal tickets measuring 2-9/16 In by 6-1/8 In, supplied in stacks of 200, 400, 600 or 800 depending on the ticket tray fitted. It does not use paper rolls.
How do I print a test ticket?
Hold the paper feed button while powering the printer on, for roughly three seconds. A test ticket printing the model, firmware, communication settings and printer ID follows a few seconds later. It is the fastest way to confirm a used unit powers up and prints.
What does the red error LED mean?
Red on with the green status LED off usually means the printer is out of paper. A blinking red LED points to a temperature, voltage or print head condition instead, and the blink rate distinguishes them.
